The teamArchie bursary enabled Callum to sail transatlantic from Liverpool to Uruguay in 2019.

Calum was the teamArchie Snow Camp apprentice 2023.

“I’ve learnt to always make connections, wherever you go, to be open minded and creative, not to limit yourself to what you’re used to or what others want… I can do more than I think” but she says “I know no matter where I go, poetry will follow beside.”

Eirlys was one of the six young people interviewed for the Clipper bursary in 2022.

Emily says it “made the pandemic much less lonely. Every day I looked forward to getting up and working with students and writers that could help me make creative progress. The residential is what made becoming a writer feel much more achievable.”

Eve was the inaugural emerging artist apprentice at New Adventures, a programme funded by teamArchie.

In Fatima’s words “the training was not only different, it was the best. It gave me the confidence to speak in front of people. I did not imagine that I would speak in this way in front of audience."

Jonabel is one of the stars of Greenhouse Sports’ table tennis development programme.

Keon was introduced to us by Youth Sports Trust International. teamArchie’s very first project provided a bursary for a young person to gain FA coaching awards and experience working alongside an FA coach in China.

Malu took part in the 2023 teamArchie First Story Summer Residential. First Story’s flagship Young Writers Programme places inspiring professional writers in residence in non-selective secondary schools serving low-income communities.

Perry was one of our New Adventures Emerging Artist apprentices with Sir Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures in 2022.

Qasim was supported to further his football coaching qualifications. Qasim now works as head of women and girls football development at Bradford City FC.

“Snow Camp for me, it's been like somewhere I can go to, like just be myself and have fun. And, like, it's a safe place, away from all the personal difficulties in my life, and the sports amazing. And then it's also giving me a career”.

Zachary is 10 year‘s old and has been with our Primary Committed table tennis programme for the last two years.
