Meet Keon
FA COACHING BURSARY
Keon was introduced to us by Youth Sports Trust International. teamArchie’s very first project provided a bursary for a young person to gain FA coaching awards and experience working alongside an FA coach in China.
Keon has gone on to specialise in coaching blind football, working with paralympic teams in Zimbabwe. Alongside coaching and refereeing Keon has been awarded a bachelors and a masters degree in Sports and Sociology and is now also a researcher and lecturer.
He had his work published in Feb 23 by Routledge in “Black Professional Football Players, Social Capital and Social Change”.
