FOOTBALL BURSARY
Roya was one of the inspirational young people we met interviewing for the very first teamArchie football bursary.
We only had one bursary to offer but were delighted to be able to mentor and support Roya with her Sunday girls football league “Miss Kicks”. She has been chair of the FA Youth Council and U21s and U16s coach at Manchester City Womens’ FC Youth Academy. Since then Roya has gained a degree in Sports Development from Leeds Beckett University and worked for FBB. She is now coach to the under 16s team at Chelsea Women.
