teamArchie starts the Festive Season
We started the festive season off in style on Monday 2nd December with a wonderful Christmas Concert that celebrated everything that makes teamArchie special. The incredible young people supported by our projects, the inspirational charity partners who make change happen, the inspiring mentors who freely give their personal encouragement and our fabulous, generous supporters and fundraisers without whom nothing would be possible.
Ash and Carys, our Future Talent brass award holders, played with the sparkle and confidence of the professional musicians they already are. Zayn and Daisy, First Story alumni, entertainingly shared their witty and wise perspectives on life. Luna spoke for Greenhouse Sports with the timing and poise of the accomplished sportsperson. All performed with a maturity far beyond their years. Then there was Marcus, Archie’s friend and loyal supporter and Qasim, one of teamArchie’s first beneficiaries, who spoke movingly about the importance of James and Claire’s support for his journey and who’s confidence and charisma shone brightly as the guiding star he is now to so many young people in Bradford City WFC.
Thank you to our professionals, mentors Matilda Lloyd and Nick Gubbins, performers Solus, Elision and our organist Richard Gowers and St George’s Hanover Square who all helped us shine a light on the talent of the coming generation.
It was particularly special to be able to share this celebration with so many friends of teamArchie especially those of Archie’s generation. Thank you to all of you and to our generous sponsor Hawksmoor Investment Management for your ongoing support.
