Our first New Adventures Raffle

Extremely heartwarming to see raffle winners Katie Barr-Sim and her mother meeting Alex, (who teamArchie have supported via Sir Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures charity) at the rehearsal of the much anticipated Romeo + Juliet.

Katie said of the experience:

The youth, the hard work, the physicality, the attention to detail, the grace & energy, all those elastic communicative movements, directions communicated into action – never a raised voice, the room filled with mutual respect & purpose, work, the time, patience & trust they put into the process – just wonderful to be there & to be able to quietly drink it all in. Can’t wait to book up for the final version! Just brilliant to think of all the fabulous opportunity New Adventures enables these talented young to experience – invaluable experience.”
